Job Description
We are looking to hire Netcool Resource at Brampton, ON with experience in Alarm integration (SNMP and Message Bus probes/rulesfile).
JD:
Integration of platforms which were cutting ticket directly to ticketing platform bypassing Fault Management.
Main tasks are:
- Provide weekly progress report
- Perform the required rulesfile integration work in non-prod environment
- Perform the required message bus parsing in non-prod environment
- Respect the OSS Fault Management alarm integration standard
- Test and validate with stakeholders
- Correct all bugs highlighted during validation and adjust rules files from stakeholders’ feedback
- Have a peer review of final solution and associated rules with OSS Fault Management prime
- Deploy in production as per client’s change enablement process
- Provide a warranty period to ensure the quality of the solution
- Document the solution.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience working on Netcool.
- Fully autonomous in developing solution on Netcool platform.
- Working level expertise of Linux RedHat.
- Expertise in building rulesfile.
- Expertise in installing and configuring message bus probes.
