Role Overview
• Manage and maintain Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA) environment
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations
• Ensure high availability and performance of Oracle database systems
Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot ZDLRA appliances
• Manage protection policies and backup schedules
• Administer protected databases and implement data protection strategies
• Perform disaster recovery operations and testing
• Automate routine operational tasks and monitor performance
• Participate in on-call support rotations
• Generate reports on:
Backup status
Recovery performance
Operational metrics
Technical Expertise
• Strong knowledge of:
Oracle Linux / Linux environments
Agents and third-party software installation
• Expertise in Oracle technologies:
Oracle Database
Exadata
Oracle RAC
Oracle ASM
Data Guard
Backup & Recovery
Desirable Skills
• Experience with:
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Oracle Database 12c Administration
Enterprise application systems
